Global Week of Action 2015

The Global Week of Action is an annual event intended to mobilise and raise public awareness on issues affecting the health of mothers and children. Civil society actors celebrated the 2015 Global Week of Action (GWA) by organizing a number of events from the 4th to 11th May 2015.

Activities were organized around the theme “STOP AT NOTHING: GET TO ZERO ON PREVENTABLE MATERNAL, NEWBORN AND CHILD DEATHS IN UGANDA”. These activities enabled participants to engage decision makers on issues of maternal, newborn and child health in Uganda and further build a united voice calling for a “World Fit for Children”.
